Experience Through Their Eyes

Came in on Halloween and it was so fun! Great decorations, fun atmosphere, and stupendous food!! We had the pizza bread, split an Anna's pizza, and a BLT. The thin crust was amazing and I absolutely loved it! Will definitely come again when in Chicago next time.

GREAT PIZZA!!!! I've been here for lunch twice. The first time it was really good. The second time was amazing! I don't know how to describe how the pizza was so much better my second time there but it certainly was amazing. It's kinda slow at lunch. The woman working the bar and dining room was very nice and attentive. If you like tavern style pizza in an old tavern style setting, this is the place!

Nobody does a neighborhood bar quite like Chicago. This is a real, down-to-earth place with a friendly vibe and killer food. It doesn't quite feel like a dive bar, since there's good beer on tap and quality liquor options available, but I'm sure many opt for more basic drinks. However, the tavern-style pizza is truly the star of the show with fantastically thin crust. I recommend a side of ranch. On the weekends, the full kitchen closes around 9 or 9:30, but pizzas are made until 11:30pm. Lunch is served from 11:30am onward.

CASH ONLY!! Katie was great! Very attentive and friendly. My son ordered 14" sausage, pepperoni and black olive pizza And a order of cheese curds with ranch on the side $36.20 plus tip Very tasty! It was Mother's Day, we parked on Schubert and walked over, it was a good 30 minute walk and a nice day for it. They open at 11:30 a.m. and it is CASH only!!!! I'm not sure if we missed the cash only when we looked this place up. They do have an ATM

Went for a show at the Athenaeum Center around the corner and found ourselves here afterwards. No frill spot with delicious chicken wings. They didn't come with the pickle, but the wings and fries are still phenomenal. Also ordered a tavern style pizza, that surprisingly tasted just as, if not better the next day in the air fryer!
